GAFI Visa, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Visa Requirements

Participants requiring a visa to attend the Global Microfinance Summit 2026 are responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa and meeting all applicable visa requirements. GAFI will provide a visa invitation letter to registered participants only after receipt of the full registration payment and the required documentation.

Participants are advised to apply for their visa well in advance of the Summit, taking into consideration the visa processing timelines applicable in their country of residence.

Visa Refusal

In the event that a participant's visa application is officially refused, the participant may request a refund of the registration fee by providing GAFI with a copy of the official visa refusal notification.

For visa-related cancellations, the following refund policy will apply:

• Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the event: The registration fee will be refundable, subject to submission of official proof of visa refusal. An administrative/processing fee may be deducted from the refund.

• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event: The registration fee will not be refundable, including in cases where a visa has been refused.
