Callie Smith is a disaster risk financing specialist, with experience working with microfinance institutions on climate risk assessment, trigger-based financing and risk layering approaches across multiple geographies. Her academic background is in physical geography and climate analytics, and she holds a Masters' degree and an Undergraduate degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge. She joined the Climate Resilience Solutions team at CelsiusPro Group in 2025, and focuses on developing innovative disaster risk financing and insurance solutions. She previously worked in the Disaster Risk Finance team at WTW, and on climate risk analysis in the Sustainability team at PwC UK.
