Mr. Manoj Kumar Nambiar,
Managing Director of Arohan Financial Services Limited

Mr. Manoj Nambiar brings over 37 years of diverse leadership experience across banking, financial services, and microfinance. He currently serves as Managing Director of Arohan Financial Services Limited, part of the Aavishkaar Group. Arohan is among India’s largest NBFC-MFIs, operating across 17 states in the east, west, central, and south regions. He began his career with Modi Xerox in 1988 and subsequently held senior roles at GE Countrywide, ANZ Grindlays, ABN AMRO Bank NV India, National Bank of Oman, Alhamrani–Nissan Finance (KSA), and Ahli Bank SAOG. In 2010, he returned to India as MD & CEO of IntelleCash Microfinance Network, where he led retail and wholesale/MSME lending initiatives. In 2012, backed by Aavishkaar Goodwell, IntelleCash acquired a controlling stake in Arohan. Mr. Nambiar has served multiple terms on the board of Microfinance Institutions Network, including four terms as President/Chair. He holds degrees from VJTI and JBIMS, Mumbai University, and has completed executive programs at Harvard, INSEAD, IMD, and LBS.
