Md. Saleh Bin Sums serves as the Executive Director of Padakhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra, a leading national development organization in Bangladesh. With over 30 years of experience, he oversees 700+ offices, 10,000+ employees, 10 million+ beneficiaries, and a microfinance portfolio exceeding USD 308.30 million.
Over the past two decades, he has led the implementation of 100+ multisectoral development projects covering health, education, climate and environment, enterprise development, water and sanitation, energy, and livelihoods. He has also played a key role in Padakhep’s digital transformation and operational strengthening.
Prior to joining Padakhep, Mr. Sums spent 10.5 years with PKSF, focusing on lending, partnership management, development projects, and monitoring partner organizations.
He holds degrees from the University of Dhaka and Stamford University of Bangladesh. He is also an Executive Board Member of PROSHIKA and a General Body Member of CDF, and has served on committees of MRA and CDF.
