Mr. Daniel Rozas

Daniel Rozas is an independent inclusive finance consultant based in Brussels, Belgium, specializing in client protection, market risk, and crisis management within microfinance and financial inclusion. He co-founded MIMOSA, a widely used methodology for assessing overindebtedness risk in credit markets, and served as Sr. Microfinance Expert at e-MFP for many years. His analytical approach traces back to seven years (2001–08) at Fannie Mae, where he witnessed the rapid rise and collapse of the U.S. mortgage market firsthand. He advises microfinance institutions, investors, and industry networks worldwide, with research published by CGAP, the Center for Financial Inclusion, and many others.
