Personal Information

Ramil Maharramov Muzaffarsky is an MIT Sloan Fellow in Global Leadership and Innovation with 20 years of experience in impact investment, international finance, and central banking. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a master’s in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned through scholarships from the governments of Azerbaijan and the USA. Ramil currently serves as a Senior Private Sector and Finance Consultant at the World Bank, teaches business at ADA University, and manages strategy and operations at Bolt Technology Azerbaijan. His past roles include Director at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Country Manager at the Islamic Development Bank (2009–2013), and senior positions at NEQSOL and a state-owned energy company. He co-founded Maliyya, a fintech startup in the UAE, and advised Kreate (Crowdpouch), a South Asia-based crowdfunding platform. He is also a frequent speaker on fintech, Web3, and crypto topics in Azerbaijan.
