Mr. Sadaf Sayeed is the founding CEO of Muthoot Microfin Limited, a leading NBFC-MFI focused on providing financial support to marginalized communities. Since its inception in 2010, he has driven the company’s growth into one of India’s largest microfinance institutions, with over ₹13,000 crore in assets under management, 16,000+ employees, 3.33 million active customers, and a presence across 1,691 branches in 21 states and UTs. With over two decades of experience in banking and financial services, Mr. Sayeed has played a key role in policymaking, credit administration, risk management, and operations. His leadership led to Muthoot Microfin becoming a publicly listed company in 2024. He has also been re-elected as Co-chair of Sa-Dhan and has contributed to several industry-level committees. Under his guidance, the company has received multiple recognitions, including the Golden Peacock Business Excellence Award, ET Business Awards, and top workplace honors. It also holds strong credit ratings and ESG performance. Mr. Sayeed holds a B.Com (H) from Delhi University and an MBA from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
