President, Nepal Microfinance Bankers Association (NMBA)
This is Mr. Ram Bahadur Yadav is recently working as a president of Nepal Microfinance Bankers Association (NMBA) and CEO of National Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. Since February 2014. He has also served as an Executive Committee Member of the Micro-insurance Committee formed by Nepal Insurance Authority; a Panel Member of the Microfinance Crisis Study, Ministry of Finance; and a Task Force Member of the Microfinance Problem Resolution, Nepal Rastra Bank. He has long experience of 27 years in Microfinance sector. He holds a Master's Degree in Rural Science from Tribhuvan University. He has received lots of national and international training and exposure in the Economics Institute Boulder (ILO, Turin, Italy), Grameen Bank (Bangladesh), SEEDS (Sri Lanka), INAFI (India), World Bank AgriFin Project (Uganda, Srilanka, India), Microfinance summit (Aabudhabi, Vietnam and Germany Munich), Rwanda, Cambodia and South Korea. His core competencies encompass strategic leadership, microfinance operations, rural and agricultural finance, micro-insurance, policy advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, and institutional capacity building.
